The New Sennheiser HD 560S Open-Back Headphones

keyword - Sennheiser HD 560S

Open-Back headphones are generally the preferable choice if you are going to listen to music for an extended period of time. This is because open-back headphones let air circulate around the ears so heat and sound can escape improving the sound of the music. They are also more comfortable.

One drawback to open-back headphones is that they to be more expensive because they need to have higher quality drivers. They also let more sound escape so are best used when no one else is around.

Sennheiser has decided to develop a new pair of headphones that are open-back and affordable. These are the HD 560S headphones which are affordable and work well for long listening sessions. They are extremely light and have soft velour ear pads that don’t make your ears sweat like vinyl does.

The new headphones are also compatible with many audio systems because Sennheiser created a special voice coil for the HD 560S that can be used with just about any source. The HD 560S is versatile and comes with a detachable 3-meter cable, a 6.3mm jack, and a 3.5mm adapter that has a flexible 15cm lead.

The Sennheiser HD 560S headphones will cost around $200 and will go on sale September 29th. Check them out at https://en-us.sennheiser.com/

Treblab Z2 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones

keyword - Treblab Z2 ANC

There has been a price drop with the Treblab Z2 ANC over-the-ear headphones. ANC of course means active noise cancelling and with over-the-ear headphones you usually have to spend at least $200 dollars on expensive brands like Bose, Sennheiser, and Sony.

It seems though that there are other really good headphones out there from brands not as well-known, that can be had at a much lower price. A perfect example is the Treblab Z2 Bluetooth 5.0 Noise Cancelling Headphones that you can get for around $50.

These headphones have some great features like a 35-hour battery, aptX support, ANC circuitry, and an IPX4 water-resistance rating.

Jabra Elite 85t Earbuds

keyword - Jabra Elite 85t

Jabra has a new pair of earbuds coming to the market in November of this year. Known for its industry-leading innovation, Jabra puts its Jabra Advanced Active Noise Cancellation in its new true wireless earbud the Elite 85t. This new ANC goes further than the Jabra’s standard ANC with its dual chip set that delivers strong ANC and optimal sound processing.

Other features include Jabra miniaturization for a better fit, adjustable digital ANC, six microphones with wind protection to improve call clarity, and Qi-certification for wireless charging.

Regarding its speakers, the Elite 85t has 12mm speakers that produce a big sound with a powerful bass. It has a semi-open design that enhances comfort and reduces ear pressure, and the oval shaped ear gels seal better in the ear. Even though they do not sit deeply in the ear, their fit is secure and comfortable.

The Jabra Elite 85t will be available for pre-order at Jabra.com, Amazon, and Best Buy in October of this year and for sale in November both online and in stores. They should run about $229. Only Titanium/Black will be available in November with Gold/Beige, Copper/Black, Black and Grey available in January 2021.

Wyze Noise Cancelling Headphones

keyword-Wyze Noise Cancelling Headphones

Wyze is a company that is best known for its inexpensive security cameras but has decided to expand into both the audio and smart home markets. As far as audio, Wyze has developed noise cancelling headphones they expect to compete in the midrange market for headphones and buds of this type. These include headphones/buds made by Apple, Bose, Sony, and some others.

Wyze’s new headphones will offer noise reduction up to 40dB which is significantly more than Apple’s AirPods Pro but less than what you will get with the high quality Sony WH-1000XM4.

Other features include 20 hours of battery life, dual voice-isolating microphones, built-in Alexa, touch controls, and wear detection. Even though they are plain-looking, they have an impressive set of features and will probably cost less than $100.

The new headphones will be available for pre-order on September 29th and should be priced well below the competition.
